I imagine what we could have in common is that moment of sudden inspiration, usually random and incredibly distracting.

Challenge: Write a story or poem or create artwork where the characters have to decide between loyalty or betrayal.

Maglor has to decide if his brother's life is worth more than his people's. Would he risk a battle against the armies of Morgoth on the off-chance that they'll rescue Maedhros?

I don't think Maglor betrayed Maedhros for not trying to rescue him. I believe that on some level that's what Maglor thinks, and it doesn't matter to him if it was the right thing to do.
